Ivanushki International

Ivanushki International is a Russian boy band founded in Moscow in 1994. Appearing in one of their music videos named Topoliniy Puh (Poplar fluff) is a 1992 GMC Typhoon! Now, we don't know Russian, but from watching the video and using a lyric translator the song is exactly what any boy band would sing about - being in love with a girl.

The music video is shot on the coast, and in various scenes you see the Typhoon being slung around in the sand during the video. At one point, you see the truck pull up and at least 2 girls get out. The band also seemingly dances around the truck and taunts the driver with waving their shirts acting as if the Typhoon was a bull in the ring. Cue in some outtakes of playing basketball, some campfire fun, a bit of laughing, and some heartfelt singing into the mic with your boys and you have a perfect teenage summer fun music video. N*SYNC and the Backstreet Boys probably couldn't have done it any better. Back to the Typhoon - it's a 1992 due to the presence of door escutcheons and likely a low VIN truck due to the blacked-out GMC letters on the grille.

So that leaves us with many questions like - who owns the truck, what number is it, and does it still exist? We can't currently answer these questions. It appears Ivanushki International is still together and making music and possibly could be contacted. If we can get any updates or new information, we will be sure to post what we find.
